Where Should We Leave Our New Peiby When We Leave The House?
We do not believe in crate training.  The babies that come from our home begin their lives here in a plastic puppy pool, then go to a baby-gated room, and then have full run of the house, all before they are 8 weeks of age.  Since they have complete access in and around our home, they have learned to appreciate that it is their home too!!!  And they RESPECT it.
Our babies go to their new homes, and fully appreciate living in a home environment-this is an integral part of how we raise them.
Can We Continue To Fertilize Our Lawn?
If you would not place a crawling baby on your just fertilized lawn, then you certainly would NEVER want to place your peiby on your just fertilized lawn!!!  We all love a lush green lawn, however, fertilizers are fatal.  If you do not wish to use organic and pet safe fertilizers, kindly fertilize in sections...and make sure your peiby does not go near the newly fertilized area for at least a week or more, even if the fertilizer has been watered in each day!
What Should We Feed Our New Peiby?
Blue Buffalo Lamb and Rice is our favorite!  Can be found at Petsmart and Petco.  Our babies are also given cold baby carrots and cold sliced apples - just amazing for teething, and incredibly healthy too!!  We introduce other fruits and veggies along the way.  We give our peibies the same fruits and veggies that we would give our toddlers - they all need the best nutrition we can offer!  However, GRAPES CANNOT BE GIVEN TO ANY CANINE!!!!!

Can We Take Our Baby to Petsmart And Other Public Places That Allow Dogs?
Initially, ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!!  These pet stores, just like your Vet's office, have animals that visit that are very, very ill.  We just cannot take the chance with our young peibies.  Their immunity systems are not very strong when they are young, SO PLEASE, SHOW THEM OFF AT YOUR OWN HOME!!!!!!

Socialization?
Our peibies are raised with both children and other dogs in our home.  They leave us as VERY, VERY social beings.  They adore children, will get along with most any non-aggressive dog, and will even adjust beautifully with cats (even though we do not have cats here!).  We sincerely try to place our peibies in homes with children, because of their complete adoration of children.  For the homes that do not have children, simply walk them to the nearest bus stop before or after school, and you will see one HAPPY, HAPPY peiby!!!  And, if your peiby is the only animal in your home, simply take him/her for a good long walk in the neighborhood, and they will be thrilled to meet their new neighbors, both 2 legged and 4 legged!!!!
Continuing the socialization process that we began is absolutely integral!!!!!
